Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Industrial Laborer to support industrial construction, maintenance, and mechanical service projects.

This role involves assisting skilled tradespeople with the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems, equipment, structural steel, and other industrial components.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pipefitters, welders, millwrights, riggers, and other skilled trades on industrial job sites.
• Load, unload, transport, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare work areas by cleaning, removing debris, and setting up jobsite materials.
• Support the installation and maintenance of piping systems, boilers, tanks, structural steel, and mechanical equipment.
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Perform material handling, lifting, and general labor tasks as directed.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Assist with equipment inspections, maintenance, and housekeeping duties.
• Work in indoor and outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous industrial, construction, manufacturing, or mechanical experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.
• Willingness to learn industrial construction methods and work alongside experienced tradespeople.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or travel to project sites as needed.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and work at heights.
• Ability to work in confined spaces when required.
• Comfortable working in industrial environments with exposure to noise, dust, heat, cold, and other jobsite conditions.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, and fall protection equipment.

Preferred Skills

• Forklift, aerial lift, or rigging experience.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience working in industrial facilities such as manufacturing plants, refineries, chemical plants, power generation facilities, or similar environments. xhyhwjd
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to develop trade skills.
