Weiner Brodsky Kider PC is a premier law firm serving national mortgage banking and consumer financial services clients. Our Regulatory Compliance group is dedicated to helping clients navigate complex federal and state laws governing the banking and consumer finance industries.

We’re seeking a highly motivated Regulatory Compliance Attorney with 6+ years of relevant experience to join our team in providing top-tier legal services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

As part of our Regulatory Compliance group, you will:

• Analyze federal and state laws related to banking , mortgage lending , servicing , and other consumer financial products and services .
• Provide strategic legal guidance to clients to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Draft and deliver high-quality legal analyses, memoranda, and client-ready work.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes to advise clients effectively.
• Collaborate with team members in a dynamic , flexible , and collaborative work environment .

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, with a strong preference for a focus on mortgage lending and servicing .
• Expertise in federal and state laws governing consumer financial products and services.
• Outstanding legal writing and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail .
• Ability to produce client-ready work under tight deadlines.
• DC Bar admission or eligibility to become admitted to the DC Bar is required.
• Prior experience in a law firm or government agency is preferred but not required.
