Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg & PCU Duration: Contract Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2 years of PCU mixed with Med Surg/Tele experience required License: RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - 2 years of PCU mixed with Med Surg/Tele experience - BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications - Prior travel experience highly preferred Description: Position involves working on a Med Surg/PCU unit. Floating to other units and campuses is required. Home base will be a Med Surg Tele floor. The unit has a 36-bed capacity with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5 to 6:1. Demographic information must be provided for submission. Culture is very important and travelers are welcomed into the units. Travelers are expected to function as core staff. All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application. This position requires the ability to float to other areas as needed.
