Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in a home healthcare - hospice setting located in Los Angeles, California. Start date: 11/09/2026. Duration: 13 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift pattern: 4 days on, 10 hours per day, typically 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Weekly pay: $2,668–$2,698 per week. Assignment type: Travel – Temporary. This position is managed through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Assess patients, collect relevant health data, and analyze findings to determine care needs.
- Develop and implement a patient care plan; coordinate care with other disciplines; monitor progress toward outcomes.
- Educate patients and families, provide health information, and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff, delegating tasks appropriately and ensuring a safe, healing environment.

Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (CA) required; CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; facility-specific BLS certification per policy required; Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience: At least two years of recent nursing experience in the field; acute care facility experience preferred.
- Other: Ability to work in a home healthcare - hospice setting; current nursing license per state of assignment; current BLS certification; ACLS and HLFS as required by policy.
